You really shouldn't go any lower than the 650 rpms it's set at from the factory. If you go much lower than that it will effect your oil pressure.
most folks raise the idle for a couple different reasons, myself included.

my idle is @ 750 i was thinking of going to 650...
I could very well be wrong about this, but I believe the auto trucks are also set at 650. At least the c6 truck I used to have was. I never dealt much with autos otherwise, my trucks are stick.

cool well ill adjust it to 650 next time im messing around under the hood....
