Stuck left rear drum!

What advice y'all got?
I have a five pound slide hammer but it doesn't have a wide enough grip.
I would like to get it off today!
I have replacement drums already so I can sacrifice the old ones.
Please and thank you!
Vince

Where is it stuck? Around the hub? If so a BFH is your friend. Did you back the brake shoes off?

Can't tell but I didn't think about backing the pads out!

When he says off, he means to pull them in not turn them out.

He dropped it off? Why? Because of the the brake drum?

my slide hammer has a hook that fits behind the drum and I just work it around the drum until it pops off.

My close friend has been using my truck for the last few months and has been doing all maintenance.
He got tired of messing with it and had it done.
Yeah my 5lbs slide hammer has that forged hook!
