If its some outfit claiming to "we buy any car......." we have them here in Ohio too, trouble being what they're actually buying and for how much isn't too well known. A few local radio and TV stations are running advertisements where you'd submit details of a vehicle you'd like to sell and they're "get back to you......." at some point with a offer. It seems that's almost a scam in that the "service" posts your vehicle to a subscriber list of dealers who would buy your car.
Same for real estate and other properties.
