Odd problem after sitting
Our Excursion sits a lot, but I've really been trying to get it out and exercised at least once a week lately. The last two times, I've noticed an odd electrical problem. When I get in and start it, the radio and window switches do not function for a little while. Then, usually after maybe 20-30 seconds or so, the radio will just randomly turn on and I can roll down the windows. Nothing else seems affected, at least that I can tell immediately. I installed an aftermarket Pioneer stereo and speakers shortly after I bought the truck some 7 years ago, but it has never done this before. It sits in Miami, FL, so there's never a cold start problem or like the windows are frozen shut or something.
