Estimated part out value for 2006 F150

My son has a 2006 F150 XLT Supercrew RWD 6.5' bed 5.4L v8 which has seized. The truck is in good condition with the exception of the rear passenger door which had an altercation with a concrete column in a parking garage. The interior is cloth. The rear axle has a 4.30 limited slip gear.

I was wondering what the estimated part out proceeds would be?

Search by part to get an estimate of what others are charging.

Put it on CL or other fine media and sit back.

Time consuming and soul killing to part out a truck. Donate it.

The truck is 7 hours away from me sitting at a Ford dealership. A guy called from the dealership saying someone is interested in buying it but no mention of price. The reason I am asking for an estimate of the part out proceeds is to determine if it is better to have the truck towed here to my house to part it out or sell it to the guy wanting the truck. The delivery fee for towing it here is approximately $709.

06 close to me 150kmi, $13,000.00 obo, subtract what a motor is, and fixing the pass. door, then subtract another $3,000.00 and you'll be close to what you will get for it, problem is people will want 'new motor' price subtracted, instead of the, $500-1,000 they will pay for used one, to put back, so lucky if he offers you $5,000 for it.

$13k for a 16 year old truck ? More like $7-8000. Then the motor is locked up and the door is bashed in... You would be better off selling the bed, interior , windshield, and doors and see if you can get $1500. Sell the truck as a unit to someone that needs a Bunch of Parts.
