does anyone have an idea where to find a sliding door roller assy for my 1991 e250...i have tried Dorman..ebay..Ford.. lkq...must be one out there

 

i haven't really looked into it but which assembly do you need? Upper or lower?

Well I am just learning how to use this Ford parts catalog but the pert number listed is called the "call out number" in the manual. There is almost always a prefix and a suffex number to go with it and they identify what year the part was designed or redesigned as well as what they were deigned to fit.

I dont know if you can get the 25000 roller by itself as I cant find it in the catalog but did find "what I believe to be the complete assembly part number" so please double check to make sure this is correct. The listing shows this part fitting a 1980-1989 van but it "MAY" also fit a 1991. My master parts catalog covers 1980-1989. It would be a different catalog tor 1990 and up and I don't have that one.
You could call a local Ford dealers parts department and give them the part number to make sure it fits your 1991...

Also here is another assembly but it is listed to fit a 1975-1984 But their listing shows that it may be interchangeable with the newer part. It is not uncommon for Ford to make a small change in the design of a part and it still fit but they do give it a new part number to reflect there was a change

Previous owner put the wrong size roller on the sliding door. I am struggling to find a replacemnt. I have looked everywhere online....I have been to a couple autosalvages etc.
Any know where I can order the proper one??? Here is a photo of what I am trying to replace.

Those hinge roller assemblies have been hard to find and get forever
Most likely why the guy jerry rigged it
Someone like Dorman should start making those someday like now
