pushing the button on my dash turns on the light in the gauge cluster indicating that traction control has been disabled, but it still doesn't seem to actually stop being a nanny.

Press and hold 5 seconds until the second message appears. Trusat me, you can do some great 2wd or 4wd donuts in these trucks!

 

Scott has it right, there's levels, not just "on or off" and it's never 100% off because the RSC can't be disabled.

 

ha, looks like that's right outta the manual, eh. my fault.
