I know everyone loves the “what is it worth” type posts, but with 4x4 being so rare in 1959, I wanted to run it by everyone in this forum.
I have a 1959 f250 4x4 with a 292 Y block. It has not been restored but as original runs and drives down the road just fine. The body is completely shot and would be better off just doing a body swap from a 2wd.
I am getting ready to list it for sale, but I don’t have a clue what to ask for it. How rare are these 4x4 chassis and what is a running driving truck worth? The vin on the title matches the frame vin and it is an original ford 4x4 from 1959. What do you all think? I have mentioned $2500 to a few interested people over the years and no one seems to hesitate or back down after hearing that price. Is that a good price or am I too low? Thanks!
Maybe a few more pics might get you a few more responses. Looks like a cool truck to me. Did it use to have a grill guard?
Thanks I added a few more pictures. And yes it had a homemade push bumper on it that was used by the service station for pushing cars. When I was younger and dumber I took it off and now I realize how much that would’ve come in handy over the years!

why are you getting rid of it? Looks like a useable work truck.
Start high and gradually lower your number. The market decides. $2500 for a running truck is a good deal rust and condition is more of a deciding factor. Mechanical stuff is easy to address rust isnt

I just have a lot of different trucks and don’t see myself using this one or restoring it. I have a 79 f250 for a work truck, a restored 77 Highboy, a 72 bronco, 76 bronco, and 79 bronco. Have to draw the line somewhere! Lol
