You will see a recession and more moderate inflation sometime in the next 6 quarters.

Probably will see production get back to normal then.

All the debts people took on during Covid will be coming due soon.

I would suggest reducing the angle of attack to break the stall first.

I think most of the supply problems lead back to putting to many eggs in one basket !!
The chi-coms are taking advantage by limiting Rare earth minerals and chip production !!
This is directly attributable to the political climate !! Nothing changes until these two thing change !!

I work in the semiconductor industry. 27 years now. We make chips for a variety of industries including automotive. We are completely unaffected by the pandemic. We never shutdown. We never slowed down. We kept running the entire time as we are classified as an essential industry. We have no problem getting wafers or materials.

The issue is the automotive companies panicked and cancelled their orders. Since demand is high we sell that capacity to other companies so when the automotive companies found that demand was still high and they wanted their chips they essentially had to go to the back of the line. That's the current automotive chip shortage. Poor planning on their part.

It has nothing to do with rare earth minerals or someone limiting chip production.

Interesting. I dropped the 5th wheel prep but not the bedliner and got a build date yesterday. Too much rumor and conjecture going around to believe any of it.

i dont think the chips are the issue anymore, maybe for the adaptive steering ? but the fifth wheel prep kit and spray in liner and rims for f450 seem to be the problem now. just dont know who to believe anymore.

and lower the nose. Opposite rudder won't do much if the stick or wheel is held back.

and level the wings

This is actually what I think.

supply chain issues = stuff isnt being made because of shortages

logistics = stuff isn’t getting moved.

I don’t care about it either way.

I do care to know what Ford plans on doing. Building my ‘22 order, building a ‘23 or refunding my deposit.

I think that’s pretty reasonable.
notice I have not mentioned due date lol that’s because of im aware of the above definitions.

TBH, I'm equal parts skeptical of the Ford rep as his/her information

So am I. Hell, he may just be repeating what he reads here and on BOF. Ford is not letting anyone know anything AFAIK. I still say it is a hell of a way to run a circus!

I’ve got a 2022 F350 Limited, ordered back in April, finally supposed to be built “week if January 24th.” Haven’t heard otherwise SO FAR…

If Ford can’t build the 22 Super Duty’s that they have accepted orders on….. we got WAY bigger problems than you don’t get your truck. With our current leadership, I supposed that’s entirely possible. 🤔

Seriously, Ford will cut orders just like they did last year, but they will build trucks with already accepted orders. Last year, as I recall, they were delivering 2021’s into early July…. The ordering bank for 22’s I think opened early March?? I suppose I’d expect a similar timeline again.
