When get FordPass points?

My F-450 is in production at the moment, so I've been looking into the Fordpass points. In the fine print it says in order to get the 75,000 points for a new diesel truck purchase you need to "activate the modem" and keep it active for 6 months. This is where my confusion lays; is the the wifi service through AT&T?

Any experience with the AT&T service? I want to get a Starlink, but if the WiFi works well, I might give that a whack.

I can't really give any feedback on that. I activated the trial but never did much with it myself. My son used it while we were on a day trip. I think the trial lasted about a day with his game or video whatching. Hopefully someone who has continued use of that service will post up with some useful feedback for you.
