I did a search and couldn’t find anything, although I’m horrible with the search tools on forums…
I bought a 22 250 and picked it up mid December. I set up my ford app on the lot and linked it to truck as I can do remote start etc. how long does it take to get the ford pass points after a new vehicle purchase?

It took us about 2 weeks, maybe less... my thing was when my wife and I went in to do paperwork on the truck, both of our names were on the paperwork. Everything I set up was in my name, so I was watching mine. After about 2.5 weeks the points still hadn't shown up, so I contacted the FP Rewards center. Turns out, they put the points under my wife's name... so we had to create an account for her to get to them. So, if it's not just you on the paperwork, make sure you check accounts for both of you.
Has to be the dealer not getting your truck registered with Fordpass.
I think mine was about a week, of course I had already registered the VIN on my Ford account before the truck was even delivered to the dealer.
With the new 2022 I got them within a week. When I bought a new 2019 it took a couple of months. Phone calls to the FordPass people were not helpful at all. But the points finally did arrive.
Update;
I reached out to my dealer, they said points are available. Seems like I have 2 accounts with ford under different emails. Anyone have a suggestion how to merge them? Or should I just use the one with the ford pass points? My app is paired to my truck with account that doesn’t have points.

I had exact thing happen. When I finally figured it out, the dealer where I was getting service was able to merge the points together.

I ended up with two user accounts too, ended up calling support and getting the unused one deleted.
Otherwise, every time you try to use the points at a dealer or Quick Lane, there will be confusion over the two accounts.
Cal your dealers Finance Mgr., make sure they put the proper spelling of your name, email address, this is were I had problems.

I had to chase dealer to get my ESP to show on ford Pass App.
reviving this thread....
once I have my points from the purchase of my new truck- how can I spend them on Ford Accessories?
can that be done online, or only at the dealership?
Any clue as to how much $$ money the 75K points is worth?

$.005×75000= $375
There is no way to use points online. I have seen posts saying that Fairway Ford, by way of phone call, facilitated sales that required shipping, and used points. You might be able to do something similar with other dealers. I have only used points in person(besides my extended warranty), and when using points they typically will charge MSRP.
