We recently bought a 2018 F-250 XL and the previous owner made a few modifications. He installed a new touchscreen panel and removed the antenna and base. I'm not sure if he was partway through installing or uninstalling a backup camera, but it's nonfunctional. I would like to get it working.
The camera input feed for the touchscreen panel is patched into a cable that's wrapped with several other cables. The wiring harness under the tailgate has three open sockets. I'm guessing one is for the backup camera. There's a camera installed over the handle of the tailgate, but it has no wiring. The dealer says that the camera did not originally come with the truck. Does anybody recognize this socket? It has two input wires, which is what the backup camera input has. Any suggestions on what sort of cable I should get to connect the camera to the harness?
