Back up Camera cable

This is a Ford Backup Cable (only) from Ford that fits my 17’. I need a cable made that will split or Y from the Tailgate’s original plugin location for a simpler Aux Camera connection for the back of my Lance Camper. Can this cable be modified to split for my needs ?

can you run the cable that the trailers use? maybe it has a plug in the bumper, dont have to use the tailgate one, but you have to manually select it on the display.

For my camper I bought a camera from camera-source that plugs directly into the tailgate socket (near the spare tire). Seems simpler than a tee connection.

I have no knowledge if the cable in the picture posted will work for you but I will tell you I recently installed a Tommy Gate on my 2017 F250 and I unplugged the harnesses going to the factory tailgate prior to removing the factory tailgate. Once I removed it, I opened the tailgate and removed both the camera and the harness inside the tailgate and reused both to remount the camera below my Tommy Gate.
