Transmission question
I have a line on an engine/trans combination for my 48 F1. It is a 4.6 DOHC -2003. The question is the transmission. It appears to be a 5R55s. I would need an aftermarket controller for it. I can't seem to find one. I will be running a Sullivan intake and MSD controller for the ignition. Should I just try and find a 4R75? I see seveal companies that have controllers for the other transmissions. I just don't see one for the 5R55. What am i missing. This will not be a high HP engine. Around 300 hp.

The 5R55S is a far more complicated transmission to shift than the 4R70. It has very limited use in the hot rod world, so I doubt that you'll find a controller that is capable of running that transmission.
