I finally got my truck on the dyno. I got 2 runs and here are the better numbers. At the rear wheels I got 421 horsepower and 925.9 foot pounds of torque. After accounting for the 15% power loss through the drivetrain the crank numbers are 495 horsepower and 1089 foot pounds of torque. I hear there may even be some more to get from these injectors with different tuning. Suggestions or recommendations?
Out of all the different tuning companies I've tried, the Jelibuilt Hot Street tune feels like the most powerful by a good margin. I haven't had my truck on a dyno, this is just basing it off of seat of the pants feel. I also use Jelibuilt's tunes most of the time when I drive the truck. Seems to run smoother/quieter/less injector noise compared to other tunes.
Also, how do you like the KC turbo? Been thinking of getting one for my E99, just haven't fully decided between a KC or going the T4 route.
WHat he said, AA tunes are awesome. I have run dp, 1023, jellibuilt, and AA tunes. AA takes the Cake. I will say that I do not have huge injectors but the quality of AA tunes and the power I get out of my 160s are pretty impressive

I don't have a bunch of time behind the wheel since finally getting the truck right, I only drive it to work once a week to keep the miles low, just in case I ever decide to do the unthinkable and sell it. But the difference between the Hydra on a stock turbo and these injectors with the KC is, well, wholy crap!!! It takes about a half second for the turbo to spool up but once it does, hang the f@#k on. This thing *****s and gits.
I reached out to AA through their web site but they haven't responded yet. Maybe I need to actually call.
Andrew is a very busy man. His tunes are extremely good. With Bitterroot to go through to get you going with his tunes its a win win. Bitterroot is prompt and easy to deal with
I fully intend to. And I also fully intend to post results here for the potential benefit of others. So keep posted if these numbers are something that interest you.
