1978 L9000
I'm new on here and as I've had the chance to read some of posts on here, I noticed that there was a person that was able to DECODE a VIN
So I was wondering If anyone knew how to get in touch with that person?
The VIN Plate has R902VBG8392 on It
What we are looking for are the Clutch and Brake Pedal pads, If there are any out there or at least the Part Numbers and I can check on our Locator
Thank you for any information!

Clutch and brake pedal pads -- I'm pretty sure the VIN decode will be of limited value.
R90 = LN900 diesel
2 = Detroit 6-71 diesel, OR Cummins NTC 290 diesel
V = Kentucky Truck Plant
BG8392 = 1978 numerical sequence
That truck should have air brakes--that doesn't use a pad like the clutch does it?
Post number 2 from Numberdummy has the part number, some sources and maybe your answer. It's from 2015 so good luck, but at least you can search by the part number:

The search will bring up a couple Ford dealers and an e-bay source and others.

Also thank you for the Info regarding the VIN,
I only included the VIN as a courtesy if needed for research for the Pads, As far as if the Truck has Air Brakes or not, That is a great question, Im not sure yet, I will find out from the customer, I am going off of a picture he sent me and it appears both pedals are the same, This truck has gone over some changes in its life some the person that has it now is kind of trying to restore it somewhat back to a little nicer life...
I apricate your help and knowledge on this, Huge thank you once again!!
P.S. You mentioned the Numberdummy, Is he still active on here? He seemed very knowledgeable about the Bigger trucks
I have one more question, (I'm probably pissing into the wind on this one) For the same Truck (1978 L9000) By chance do know how I could come up with the Interior Dome Light Assembly Part number?
Once again, Thank you very much for all of the information you have shared and for your time! It is greatly appreciated!

Click on that, and select "Advanced Search". Put "dome" in the key word. Put "Numberdummy" in "User name". (It will autofill)
Select "Large Truck". Select "Posts". Press "enter" and find:
Post 14. This if from 2018, so Carpenter may not have them. But you can see there were dozens of models over many years that used that same light.
