2017 with 104k, on the way into work i noticed the check engine light came on. freaked out a bit, have to wait all day to get back and try to scan it......... o the possibilities......
The ability to read engine codes, without a scan tool, on my last Ram was a plus...too bad that I had to use it so frequently at times. Cycle the key 3 times w/o starting the truck, leaving it turned to on at cycle #3 and read the codes as they appeared across the odometer. Write them down and Google away. Though towards the end I just carried the scan tool with me at all times so I could reset them if they affected operation.
so last night after a 1 hour drive home i read the codes.
