Rail Yard
My truck is still sitting in the Lordstown for now for over 2 weeks. It's driving me insane. 😤

I don't know how you keep from going nuts. My wife thinks I'm off my rocker. I want to see the truck in real life. Is that too much to ask?
Hang in there.

Mine hit the rail yard Sat. We had storm Sun and are expecting another on Friday. My 2017 sat at the yard for 2 weeks. So frustrating to have your completed truck so close after waiting so many months.

Its up to the dealer to get it to their place. Maybe they don’t have an open spot or not enough coming in to fill a truck up?

This is incorrect. Dealership does not know when they will get the vehicle until about 1 day before the cargo company schedules to deliver it

This is correct, they have no control. Everything is at the mercy of the cargo company.

On my last order I encouraged the dealer to get it from the rail yard and he said he would try and did within a couple days.
2 years ago though.

The most they can do it reach out to their regional Ford rep asking for help. Then Ford can push the carrier.
What most likely happened is 2 days later your truck happened to show up.
Correlation does not mean causation.

My new F-350 has been sitting in Minot, North Dakota for about 2 weeks now without any movement:
In Transit - Delay- Conveyance Mechanical Failure (Burlington Northern Railroad ) Minot, ND Jan-09-2022, 16:07 CT.
I hope they get the rail car back on the tracks soon because I want my damn truck!
