Clunk when driving.

Pickup is 1994 F250 XL with 351w and manual transmission. Hearing a "clunk" when driving slow (less than 40 mph). The noise doesn't happen at times. When it is happening, stepping on the brake pedal makes it stop. Seemed to me like something had to be loose in the brakes, but I couldn't find anything. I removed all 4 wheels and looked at each hub and brakes. Any suggestions as to what the cause of this noise might be? Looking for some direction before just blindly tearing things apart. The brakes still work properly, not mushy or noisy, no delay in stopping, no abrupt stopping.

Could be the brake pads moving around because the anti rattle clips are fatigued. Have you inspected the driveshaft? What about the shocks and sway bar bushings? Worns part on any of these things will produce clunking noises.
