I've been trying to read everything on the order process, one thread is 300 pages long!
So they will still build it and Mlke it a 23? I assume I'd have to ok whatever changes the MY would constitute.
I've also been looking for the commodity shortage sheet if there is such a thing?? I did try to decipher the order spreadsheet and see 5th wheel trucks are stacking up. I really don't need the truck till August so that would be ok with me to wait, but I want to make sure it actually gets built.

Email this morning from Chapman Horsham. Suggest removing 5th and spray from potential order,to avoid 40 week delay They will spray for 595 and will not install 5th wheel prep. Said if my order does not get built in time it will become a 2023. Also said the Dora is not a final price, just an estimate and I'm responsible for all price increases until I take delivery. Does this seem normal? Wouldn't the purpose of the order be to lock in prices? They said 4pct under invoice would be honored no matter what.

Ok, almost have this ironed out. I'm in a wierd spot because I actually don't want the truck too soon because of my lease ending in September. Anyway I called around today and the 5th wheel prep kit is available locally as an accessory from ford for around 600 bucks. It's only a 2hr installation at ford and seems like the simplest installation of all the aftermarket options, just need to lift the bed.
I called some auto wreckers and quite a few have these hitches, one close by will sell to me for 100 bucks and it has all the bolts and brackets....just food for thought as the BW doesn't seem too friendly on these trucks. Therefore I can take off the 5th wheel and spray and not worry about it till later on.
I just need a PCO!!
Do these come as pop-ups anymore? A while back members were helping each other get them and I was wondering if that's still a possibility?

I've been going back and forth and have been toying with the black package, carbonized grey in XLT and Lariat. When you build an XLT with the value and black package, the computer gives it chrome bumpers...is that just a glitch?
When you build a lariat with the BAP, it computer shows all the lights go to LED, which is sweet, but not specd anywhere besides the drawing. I checked the build sheets and it's no clearer there but every pic of an actual Lariat with BAP shows them with LED.

The Lariat with the Black Appearance Package comes with LED Headlights. On the build site, if you try to add the LED Headlight option after choosing the Black Appearance Package, it will prompt you to remove the Black Appearance Package.

Placed the order with Chapman today. Carbonized Lariat Black Package, CCLB, 7 3 w 4.30s. I left off the 5th wheel but it has spray standard. I'm hoping it takes till summer if i even get it, closer to my f150 lease end time.
