I orderd a 2020 F-250 Lariat with the Tremor and Lariat sport package. When looking over the order i noticed the sport package was $4,295 and the Tremor package was $3,975. Both packages have over lapping items such as upgraded wheels and tires and running boards. The Tremor package takes presidence and so its wheels and running boards will be the ones on the truck, however they are still charging me full price for the Sport package. Shouldn't they pro-rate the sports package since im not getting some of the items in it? I asked the dealership and they didn't know why Ford would do this and have placed a call to thier Rep. I called fords customer service number and they didn't have an answer for me and are escalating it up the chain, but i'm not going to hold my breath. Does anybody know how this works?
I am in the process of ordering the same truck and raised the same questions. I am working through our fleet manager and he still has not found an answer.
The fleet manager I use with Ford called today and answered a few of the questions I had. He explained that the adjustment in price for the Tremor package combined with other packages (Sport, King Ranch, Platinum, etc..) is done in the base price of the vehicle.
