An actual Jump Pack can start at least a few cars with totally dead batteries and not break a sweat.
Do we own trucks, or do we own Priuses?

After doing what I felt was enough "research" on the NOCO unit, I feel completely confident that it is more than enough to jump my 6.7L PSD TRUCK (multiple times if necessary). I am not knocking the heavier, much larger jump packs that use different battery chemistries by any means, but I am very happy to be leaving that big, heavy pack behind in favor of something smaller and lighter that will accomplish the same thing. The only downside I see is the one that Section 179 brings up, replacing the battery itself would prove more difficult/expensive in the NOCO's, however, for me personally, this isn't high up on my list of "needs/wants" in my jump pack.

I have the Noco 75. It jumps and starts everything. I am the go to guy when we're boondocking. Everyone knows Gramps has it all when the need to charge or power up anything lol. Recently had to boost my completely dead Bobcat in about 0-5F. Hook it up, not a flinch. This things amazing. Will never be without one.

Another NOCO GB150 owner... bought mine in spring 2019. Fired the 2005 Ram's Cummins with no problem when both batteries had dwindled to an indicated 10 volts.

GB150 here also. 2016 F350 6.7 died at a dump station with the 5th wheel in tow, after figuring it was the batteries hooked up the GB150 truck fired right up. I've used it to jump others that needed assistance. I carry a harbor freight 12v air compressor when air is needed. Both small and compact.

Noco150 here. In a couple hours span I jumped my farm truck diesel, backhoe and a 100hp tractor and it barley moved the charge display. I was confident it wouldn’t crank any of then since it was the 20’s and none of them had been cranked in a couple months. Color me super impressed. Never owned a Jumpbox that would even crank a truck much less heavy equipment. Can’t recommend the noco150 enough. Actually they have a larger one out now thats about the same price if one is worried the 150 won’t be enough.

It's okay if you feel that a heavy lead-acid battery pack is the only jump box that will do the job. Numerous members have posted their success with lithium battery jump boxes. There is a range of jump box sizes. Maybe you only have experience with the purse size which, I agree, will have limited use for SD trucks.

Purse Size

Not Purse Size

My GB150 has done as much as my old, heavy lead-acid jump box.

Noco GB150 for me. Buy it on Black Friday or Amazon Prime Day for about $175 which is a lot less than $300. I have 2 and carry one in my F250 and one in My JKU on 1 tons.
