coolant color
every time I start my truck the exhaust smells sweet. today after towing 50 miles I check the coolant and it is low. but both bottles look like green coolant.

Have you had any work done to cooling system? Yellow and blue make green....

That is a mystery for sure! I have nothing to add. But please let us know what the dealer says if you decide to have them look at it.

THat actually looks like the Yellow/Correct coolant. My 19 came with yellow but looks identical.

I would agree.

Motorcraft Yellow 50/50 straight from the bottle.


This is what my primary system looks like after the dealer "flushed the system" and replaced the old orange coolant with the new yellow.


And just for reference - Motorcraft Orange 50/50 straight from the bottle.

thank you. it is going back to the dealer Monday for coolant loss, and sweet smelling exhaust.

I am sure since i am still in the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty they won't "find" anything
