Finding Gear Ratios

I am looking at a few 2k1 and 2k0 F150's, hopefuly making a purchase today. I was wondering if there was any simple way to determine what gearing I have in the rear-end.

Can a ford dealer give me a prinout by VIN with vehicle specs?

I have read the FAQ but if there is anything else i should know gimme a shout. With any luck I will be here much more.

Should be a little metal tag attached to the rearend on one of the bolts.

The sticker in the door jam will give an axle code that you can search this site and find out what it is. Usually if the code is a 2 digit (like 17), then it is an open rearend. If it has a letter and a number (like H7) then it is usually a limited slip.
