Wiper Motor availability

!978 F150 4x4 300 IL6
Wiper Motor
Does anyone know who is making or reworking these motors? I have one but it is making lots of noise. I am sure it is the motor because I removed it and tried it stand alone. It is vibrating from the gearbox.Do they sell the gearbox parts?

C7TZ-17508-D .. Wiper Motor = 1967/79 F100/350 & 1978/79 Bronco. It's the same wiper motor used with or without intermittent wipers, which were introduced in 1973.

I see there are some. But when I looked earlier I did not use the part number and it said what they had would not fit my truck. However there are none within 100 miles of me.and it says call to order. I will try tomorrow. If I get the intermittent
switch and the box for it will this motor work? I tried LMC, and Bronco Graveyard and they do not offer it.

Old info but good info.Two differenttypes of windshield wipers, two differentwiper switches. Two speed wiper switches have a low & high speed.
Intermittent (delay) wipers were optional on 1973/79 F100/350's and 1978/79 Bronco's. Intermittent is not another name for low speed!

I purchased them from LMC but I was not sure if the motor was different. I don't think it is. I should be good. But thanks for all the information. You can never have enough when yu are doing a frame up rebuild.

To answer your question, Ford did sell individual parts for the wiper motor including gearbox parts. There's an exploded diagram of the motor assembly in the parts catalog. Whether any are still available is another mater.
