Well I’m taking early retirement after being an ICU nurse for 30 years. I was probably a pretty good professional bad example. Never really lost my Iron worker mind set which I did for 10 years prior.
Anyway, bought a 1980 2wd F250 with supposedly 70k miles,(not sure whether I believe that or not, we’ll see), 300 I6, manual 4 speed with the granny 1st. It supposedly sat in a field for a while bed is gone but has a decent flat bed on it. Guy who sold it to me replaced front brakes rotors and lines put in new rear gas tank, sending unit and lines. New tune up and fluids changed. Has a front driver side tank that is good but not hooked up. Not sure what it is off of but it’s just a square tank, (not sure what I’m going to do with that; would love to hook it up). Not sure what gearing is in the reared yet or even what rear Edna’s it is in Ohio and I’m in New Hampshire. Will be putting on manifold back exhaust system, ( EFI manifolds ) probably A Clifford 2 bbl intake and 2100 or 2150 carb I have both, ( need rebuilt). I m no mechanic, in-fact these carbs will be will be the 1st ones I’ve ever done (2150 = 1.21; 2100 = 1.08) Anyway, Hey all!
PS: will post pics when the truck and I meet in person.
