Howdy Y'all
I'm a long-time lurker...first time poster.
Currently, I own an 88 F-150 XLT 4x4 with a 6" Rancho kit, and 33x12.50R15 BFG AT KO, K&N filter, home made exhaust (not too loud, honest) Rebuilt the engine & trans 40k ago.
I love the truck, the interior is 99% perfect. The body is straight, with only minor surface rust in a few small spots. Paint is glossy, but it's a truck...so the inside of the bed shows expected wear and tear.
Anyhoo...
My family is about to outgrow my regular cab, and I recently purchased a 28' camper... so a friend of mine is making me what seems to be a good deal on his truck.

Fresh rebuild w/ Banks Sidewinder
New 3-spd auto trans
New 4.11 rear
Converted to dually
Air ride suspension
More gauges than an F-16

A long time lurker sounds like something you would want to squash.... However, I am so glad you managed to get the courage to come and reveal yourself to us. Counseling may be an option, should you deem it necessary.. 
I suppose that I should welcome you as well, but as you admit to being a lurker, you don't need welcoming really, as you have been here, all along...........

Welcome from Alabama. And what's up with "Y'all" ??? Don't you know that is an exclusively "southern" word reserved for use south of the Mason-Dixon line??? Unless of course you were born in Dixie and migrated to Pa.

Thanks for the warm welcome. My entire family is in the South. (SC, GA, FL, TX) I was just misfortunate enuf to get stuck here. But I could be worse, I could be in Canada. LOL

Well, the 6.9 seems like a kickass powerplant with that Sidewinder Turbo on it. Of course, I'm comparing it to the 302 I had, so I bet a PowerStroke would REALLY make an impression on me.
I have 4.10's in the rear, and the trans is only 3 spd...so I'm hoping the mileage is decent. It did seem to run FOREVER on the last 1/4 tank. I guess I should post this in question format in another thread...so I will.
