I have one on my 56 F100 and my 40 coupe...it is an electronic emergency brake actuator. My only complaint is that the eight black screws that hold on the cover will rust, for the cost of these units I would think that they could use stainless.

I sent E-Stopp a message about the corrosion on the cover screws that I see on my actuator. They responded with a statement that they had seen some issues on older units with screw corrosion but had corrected it on the most recent units. They asked for my mailing address and have sent me a "handful" of the newer screws. I do not have my latest unit installed yet so I can't comment on the corrosion issue with the new unit. I am pleased with the prompt response and the corrective action taken by E-Stopp however.
