Mirrors and lights interchangeability

Mirrors and lights interchangeability
I have fitted the Trail Ridge (08-12 style) with running lights and turn signals etc, do they utilise the stock light unit or are they interchangeable? I'm thinking of getting some led units that obviously fit the OEM mirrors but don't want to order if they don't fit the aftermarket mirrors. TIA
