Thanks. I know they made 70s box truck for ups or uhaul that have the beaded rim for the 65 f350 dually lug pattern. I want to get rid of my split ring. I thought maybe I’d get lucky with the one I found there. Some guy posted it for sale with few pictures and less specifications. Thanks again.
Beware of the WM wheel. Look them up if you are unfamiliar. They may look like a tubeless in front as there is no lock ring.
Sorry I said split ring. mine have the continuous ring. I finally found a tire shop who would mount and balance bc I didn’t want to touch them. Any way you cut it , I don’t want split, continuous or the widow makers. It’s almost impossible to find the beaded wheels for these trucks in the big 6 pattern.
The wheels now on the truck have the Firestone RHP unbroken ring 16” rims. Optional on F-350s 1956 to 1966 were 17.5” x 5.25” tubeless one piece wheels made by Budd, either numbers 71320 having six hand holes or 79120 having three hand holes. The below set of 71320s is now listed on eBay. These use 8-17.5” tires that are being reproduced by the STA company and are available from Coker, Universal, and other vintage tire retailers. These tires are approximately 32” diameter which is similar to your 7.50-16”s. Below is a link to the eBay set. Stu

What you want and what is pratical are sometimes two different things. You already have new radial tires on safe time proven commercial 2 piece rims. Just carry a good spare tire and wheel in case of flat. The unnecessary, IMO, switch to 17.5" wheels and tires will cost you a small fortune, unless you get very lucky locally.

I’d agree with that. The Firestone RHP was a time proven rim used as a heavy duty option. Even optioned on half ton and 3/4 tons in SRW configurations as their load capacities were superior to riveted disc one piece wheels. Nothing wrong with keeping them in service if you can find a shop willing to work on them. Stu
