Question Gear Size
Just purchased a 1987 F150 4X4 with the 302cu motor in it and i can't seem to find the out what size gear it is any help would be appreciated. Wouldn't be 3.55 would it?

Most likely it's a 3.55, but there is a tag on the rear axle that will tell you, and the axle code on the door jam sticker will tell you if someone decodes it for you.
