- Additionally, I reviewed 1979 Explorer brochure for Ford "Custom", but it doesn't state what is included with Package "A", "B", "C" and "D". In the 1978 Explorer "Ranger" brochure, it does state package level specifics. Are the Explorer packages the same regardless of "Custom" and "Ranger" trim?
