Head porting

Hey everyone, Merry Christmas to you all!! I hope all of you are having a good one! Just a small question here for y’all. I am rebuild the heads on my 351W and I happened to break a manifold bolt on the one. As I was drilling it out, I drilled to far and drilled into the coolant jack. Now the one that was already rebuilt, I ported it out just a little, took off the smog pump nipples on the exhaust side and just took of the rough edges. I ended up buying a remanufactured head for the other side I messed up. My question is, should I port the other one or will it not make a difference. Since it’s brand new I don’t wanna take everything a part unless I have to port it out. Thank you all for your replies. I have a 1994 Ford F-150 351W

My understanding is that the E7 heads don’t flow very good. If you ported one side then I would do the other side. I’m not sure where you are in Pa but I could have given you a replacement head. I have two sets of E7 heads: one pair of 302 and 351w.

Doesn't sound like you did a lot of porting so I'd say you're good to use the two heads as they are.
