Front end hardware part number breakdown
I'm reinstalling all the front end parts on a 79 bronco. Frame was stripped right down as PO thought of 2wd swapping it. Have all the brackets etc just no bolts.
Installing coil buckets, shock towers, steering box, shocks, track bar and stabilizer bars. This pic shows most of those bolts.
These motor mounts are home made to accept a 460, but the bolts should be the same length.
Panhard rod to frame- Top bolt: 7/16 x 5" , Bottom bolt: 9/16" x 5". The heads go on the outside. Bolt through rod: 1/2" x 3-1/2". This may not be the same as your application. My mount is home made to accommodate the lift kit and to lower the rod to be the factory distance above the axle. Yours, being a Bronco, may have the front shock absorber incorporated into the same bracket. There is a rectangle plate on the inside of the frame.
Motor mounts/coil tower: There is a 3/8" nut on the inside of the frame, middle bottom, that goes on the stud coming from the rubber bumper, One 3/8" x 1" bolt going up into the frame through the coil tower and 5-per side 7/16" x 5" through the tower, motor mount and and frame. Heads on the outside. Again, this is for my home made motor mounts. Yours may not be the same as they are factory mounts.
Top coil spring bracket: (2) 3/8" x 1-1/4" heads on the outside.
Lower coil bracket into cast radius arm (2) 7/16" x 1", 14-thread per inch. with lockwashers.
Rear shock tower" 7/16" x 5", heads outside.
You will notice that some of mine are turned around with heads on the inside of the frame. That is to clear my headers. if you do this, trim the end of the protruding bolt so it cannnot get into the shock absorber of coil spring. There is room, but is a tight fit.
Let me know if you need more details.
I found a few bolts which is great. Short one of those special steering box bolts.
My panhard mount is also a shock tower, different for the broncos I guess.
Did you have any bolts going into the bottom of the frame through the coil tower? Can't figure that one out
