2022 F350 Key Duplication/Questions
Is there anywhere other than the dealer that I can get these keys duplicated?
I was under the impression this key is not a smart key and I just need the physical part to run the truck. True? (no remote start, very basic Lariat) Maybe if I use the physical key and enter the door code?

I wonder if you can buy a flip key and get it cut somewhere and then program it yourself? I know that I did that once in a 2016. Procedure was in the manual I believe to code extra keys.

And is the smart key require no battery, like it uses RFID.

Isn't that where the keys get "programmed" (or does the truck learn the key).
I saw somewhere that if your key battery was dead, you could put a key there to start the truck.
On the question of "My Key", I guess programming your phone as a smart key is not possible? Maybe only a mustang thing right now?

I believe....if you have 2 fobs you can add a 3rd yourself after buying one on ebay etc. and getting it cut, there's a procedure. I ran one of mine over with my lawn mower and called a mobile locksmith. He came to me, cut and programmed the new fob in about 10 minutes. Charged $230 cash. He does all the keys for lots of dealers in the area. Sourcing, getting one cut and then programming would be cheaper but not something I wanted to research.
