1977 F100 351M. This setup is the vacuum operated inlet duct version. See image below from shop manual. My air cleaner temperature sensor now makes a buzz so loud you can hear it over the engine - while driving.
I am going to run SSD-9 to assess operation of duct door but the noise almost makes that moot - part needs to be replaced/fixed. I believe this is part 9E607 but am not convinced. The photos below show the sensor.
1.) Can anyone confirm the actual part number of the sensor (9E607, full part would be grand)?
2.) Other FTE threads indicate this buzz is not atypical. Any thoughts on fixing the sensor?
3.) Does anyone have a sensor or full air clean cover they are willing to part with? PM if so.
