Gentlemen, does anyone know of a Falcon Forum that actually is alive and well? Just bought a '65 and looked around for a forum for info but all that I found get little to no traffic. Was hoping one of you guys also had a Falcon.
The Falcon Club of America, FCA, has a website, and a Facebook page. There are bound to be some other Fb groups. I would love to have a 63 Falcon Futura, especially love those wagons, but I can only do one old vehicle. Would love to see a few photos of your Falcon.

thanx Eric
Try Melvin. I restored and hot rodded this 64 back in 93 before the internet. Melvin was catering to Falcons and Mustangs back then. They should know about any active forums. This car got a built 5.0 and T5 from an 88 Mustang. Disc brakes are a bolt on if you can find a Granada to get the spindles from. I sold it before it got a chance to kill me. These Falcons share a ton of parts with Mustangs and Granada's. Melvin's Classic Ford Parts | Auto Parts Store | Conyers, GA (melvinsclassicfordparts.com)
for 22 years about the best out there was "The Ford Falcon News" or TFFN.
then the server crashed, and locked the site owner out. then the server just shut down.
we lost 22 years worth of information. Dave, the owner has cancer and is in hospice and does not want to put any effort into starting it back up.
maybe after he passes a few of the older members will take over the reigns and try to recover what can be found.
I wasn't actually looking for anything, I'll consider my self lucky if I finish my'66 F-250 before I die. My son found it and couldn't keep it to himself, he knows I have an addiction.. I couldn't pass it up, it's pretty clean and I only paid 6K for it. It needs so little I figured I'd knock it off quick so I can drive it, then get back to the pickup project. So for now it will be "no frills". I'll just get it mechanically sound and drive it. But I could change my mind tomorrow , who the hell knows. Senility rules

Sounds like my life. I have a 64-shop manual that was given to me. It is pretty shop worn, but it was that way when I got it 30 years ago. If you would like to have it PM me an address and I will give it to you. Other than the trim there is no difference between a 64 and a 65.
Thank You Crop, I find the more I look around this the more familiar I am with it. I've had a crap load of these in my life. Just my immediate family, my father had a '60 4 dr with a 144 and a 3 speed,a '64 4dr with a 170 and a C4, my brother had a '64 2dr. Sedan, pretty much the same as this car with a 3 spd. and the 170, and my mother had a really pretty Prairie bronze metalic 2dr '65 Hardtop with a 200 and a c4.
The car looks really nice and a great price. I assume no hidden rust or bondo, just doesn't look like a typical NE car. I understand the just go over the mechanicals and start driving it but I don't think I could help myself and would need to swap in a 302.
