Yes, that old book has been opened a few times. That book started out at a FORD dealer in Louisiana, ended up in the hands of a garage mechanic who gave it to me.
Here is a survivor 64 Sprint convertible I had to let go of a few years ago to pay off medical bills. I have owned several V8 hardtops and convertibles over the years. They are great little cars but becoming too expensive to purchase just like our F100's.

Truth be told, I am in the market for a ragtop, this sedan is so nice I may be able to make a few bux off it and put it towards a ragtop. And I'm not fussy, any ford from 1940-1972 with a stick will do. that one would have been perfect.
Ya, I'm guessing that would be a joy to drive. Did I mention that I will more than likely own this next week..............
Looks pretty nice from the picture. I never drove a pickup version but we had a service van at a place I worked 40 years ago. Was well worn but ran and drove well, I remember not needing to use the clutch to up shift, just let off the gas, shift, back on the gas. Also had a 65 F250, 352 and a 4 speed. I drove that truck much more pulling a tandem axle trailer we used to deliver L&G equipment.

I don't think I've ever driven or even worked on one of the pickups, couldn't have been too many of them around, and that includes the chevy and the dodge. Plenty of the vans though. My buddy from high school ,who now rents my apartment. his father owned Ed's TV, not the movie version, he taught me how to synch shift on his '64? van. It was telephone company green back then...
when it rains it pours!! My fleet count has gone up and down so many times over the years! If you have 3 might as well have 8, or 10.. well 12, now I'm down to a "normal" 6
Nice looking Falcon, I've come close to getting one a few times, kick myself now, always loved them and the Mavericks/Comets. Once you get the bug... some things you just can't pass up!
