ok...I was at a buddy this afternoon looking at parts and i saw this cool intake manifold...its was a WEIAND and i was curious if it would fir or what it would fir...we are not sure what it came..of of and the man who owns it is in London......so cant aski himright now if he will know (doubt it).......any way can some own tellme what this will fit with the number on the intake it said weiand thin under that said 1546........if so that would be great this thing look realy cool and it sit real high and the base is thick .......any ways if you can tell me by that that would be awasome i would like to find out if it will fit and if so i will try to get a picture of it...Thanks
You can identify the fit for an FE just by looking at the block/head/manifold overlay. Take a look at the online Jegs or Summitt catalog and see what Weiands they offer...
this one is older and yes if it would fit i would want to use it it Weiand 1546 its 4brl......and i was wondering if its possible to find out if it will fit..(with out buying) by the number......Thanks
I have not had any luck with info for that part number, but maybe someone else will. You can tell just by looking at it if it will fit an FE engine, it will have the top two valve cover bolt holes in it (look at any FE manifold for reference). If is is a single plane, you may not want it for your low rpm 4x as that would be a high rpm unit....
