I just bought a 87 f150 and i have a few questions.I would like to know if there is any place in Canada that i can buy an owner's manual for my truck, and if anyone can tell me if the display light light on the stereo is on a dimmer because i can't read a thing.
thanks herb
Herb ,
As for the owners manual , try your local Ford dealer in Saskatchewan . The bulb in the radio is likely burned out . They require you remove the radio and remove the old bulb and replace it . Check your local yellow pages for shops that deal with automotive radios or ask your local Ford parts guy where they have their radios repaired .

Paul,
Thanks for the info, I phoned my local dealership and they are ordering me a manual. Is it very hard to take the radio out? I may be asking for more help in the future so thanks alot!
Herb
Herb ,
Remove the trim around the radio ...should be held on with some clips . You may have to remove the ***** first ? The radio is help in place with 4 Torx screws . Its been awhile since Ive changed the tiny little bulb , but depending on the radio , you shouldnt have too much trouble locating the bulb . Post back with what radio you have and Im sure one of us can help if you need it .
