The truck is a 21 F250 CCSB. Payload capacity is 3080 lbs. I had full fuel (204 lbs), me (240) and hitch (a Pullrite Superglide 16k, guesstimating 150lbs). If I’m doing my math correctly I’m getting a trailer weight around 10,800 lbs. Is it correct to subtract truck+cargo/fuel from the combined weight? Also I was getting a cargo weight of around 2200 pounds, assuming my math was correct.
To get correct weight of what the trailer was and your true payload you need to weight the truck without trailer but loaded as you have stated, hitch, fuel, and you after dinner.
Lets look at like this. Empty over the rear axle is probably around 3K. So this assumes then that you added around 3200 lbs with the hitch and of course the king pin or the payload added.
So if the trailer axles are scaling at 8700 plus the estimated payload from the trailer of 3200 lbs then simple math says your trailer is an estimated 11,900 GVW.
