Bad lifter = rebuild time?

So many upgrades on the new ones, they really are nice. I just see dumping $10k-15k on motor on a truck that has so many miles. Don't get me wrong, it's been an amazing truck up to this point and I got plenty of use out of it, but I'm ready to upgrade. The 1st couple years of the 10 speed had some issues in the superdutys (early 2020 builds), but were quickly resolved and seems like they have it dialed in now. The Gen 3 motor 6.7L also has some nice upgrades like forged pistons and improvements with the dana axles.
I hope I can maybe get it running with fixing low oil pump. Otherwise a great truck for someone that wants to take on the motor issue, or swap with something else.
