Lost all oil

A few wekks ago my oil cooler blew out only leaving like 2 quarts of oil in the system, I was on the interstate and had to keep going till I could find it safe. Id say I ran it like a minute or two after it started rattling and oil pressure dropped to zero. I got it all rebuild and back in the truck and it runs good with no leaks. Is there any chance I did any internal damage to the motor with this happening?

ya, theres always chance of damage when you run out of oil. and 2 minutes doesnt sound like a lot but at 2500 revolutions per minute, thats a ton! hows your oil pressure now? bad bearings will usually give you less oil pressure since the bearings will basically just let the oil pour out. if you did damage anything, you might as well just drive it til it craps out and keep an ear out for damage. if you have to rebuild your engine, you just have the crank and connecting rods turned anyways and use .010 over bearings.

Oil pressure actually seems to be reading in about the same spot.
