ABS Front Wheel Speeds
Hello! First Post. I have an 05 F-350 with a 6.0 and 4x4. I've had an issue where I had to use one of those handheld tuners from SCT (running 50hp tow tune) to reprogram my tire size to make my speedometer read true and correct to GPS and radar, however, this seems to have not changed the front tire size. My front two tires read about 111% faster than the rear differential which decreases the margin to an ABS activation and gives me a lot of spurious trips. I've watched front right, front left, and rear diff speed while ABS was having a fit triggered by hard acceleration. Speeds look normal except there is more divergence between the front and rear which goes away after some waiting, meaning the rear sensor might be laggy. Its been replaced and thats changed nothing. I would like to discuss with some of you some solutions before replacing the front two sensors. They both agree with each other.
