First parade

Put the 52 in the local parade. Probably had 10k people there and we handed out about 400 candy bags/invitations to our live nativity event next weekend. The truck did well, stayed cool, and electric system did fine. Probably idled for an hour with the headlights and radio on and no issues with the battery.

Your truck looked great, JB! And the twin horns sounded great too.

Yesterday was my first parade in my 81 F100 flare side with my car club.
Being red & white the red nose & antlers on the truck I think it fit in.
I was in a Santa's hat and the gray beard kids thought I was Santa as I could hear them say so.
It was a short parade but was fun. sorry to say work will be getting in the way for 2 others the club is going to.

Congrats on the first parade. Truck looked GREAT!! And it is the year of the red truck again.

It's a ton of fun doing those. I put mine in my yearly "Flag Day" parade here in MA, usually for a local friend's business or political affiliation IF I agree with their politics . Glad she ran well. It can get a bit dicey towards the end of the hour + parade with regards to temperature and fuel mixture in the summer, but knock on wood I've made it through each one so far. I would love to do one this time of year if given the chance.

But the neighborhood loves it. It's also cool when you see how many other people take pics or videos of it, then get to know you more as you scoot it around town throughout the year. Just this past weekend, my step-daughter was at our town's annual Christmas Tree Lighting and she overheard her friend's parents talking about the "old green truck" from Flag Day. She proudly proclaimed "that's in our garage!!!" She felt like a celebrity, lol. She has never really been interested in riding around in it until that moment, then she wanted me to drive it all over the next day.
