2001 F350 wiper problem
The wiper will not turn on rotating the MF except for High, and then it will not turn off when switched to off. If I turn the engine off and back on with the switch off the wipers return to park and turn off. Pressing the washer button in will cycle the wipers and park as it should. I had replaced the MF switch with an aftermarket this year but can't recall if I tested the wipers then, sure I would have but don't remember. I wouldn't think it to be the motor since it does run low and high. Any thoughts?

Worn wire in engine bay
Awhile ago I had issue with wipers and wrote up how to troubleshoot and fix it. You should look up on this site on intermittent wipers and search for my handle, zeppelindad. Essentially what happens is the power wire for wiper motor is rubbing inside the engine bay against drivers side wheel well. In my case, it rubbed till wire disconnected.
