No reverse
Hello everybody I have a problem with my 2003 Ford F-350 5.4L it has no reverse I have already put an other transmission under it I backed out of the garage then it stopped working I have no issue of driving forward it selects all forward gears but once I want back up it’s basically in neutral and it is not the selector because in park it does not move

I Would certainly think you could not have the same trouble with two transmissions. I would start by verifying that the shift selector is actually picking the proper position for reverse and that the range selection switch that it goes through is in good working condition
