I have a sct tuner that came with my 08 f450 and never played with it. Long story short I loaded a different tune that was on the tuner and now it won't drive forward.....just reverse. Had to load stock program for truck to move forward. Then it wanted to go into regen which in all the time I owned the truck it never went into regen.
In all the tunes I can load it ask for mph -3 to +7 mph for each shift then percentage change in pressure. First attempt I left at 0, second attempt I put +1 mpg and + 5% for pressure.....still same result.
Any help is much appreciated.....only way to drive is loading stock tune.
Any help is appreciappreciated!!!
Thank you in advance.
One more thing I forgot.....the truck will go into reverse without incident but when I would put the truck in drive it almost felt as though it was still in reverse but locked up.....no forward motion.

Thanks,
I did reprog to stock....only way to get it to drive. I downloaded the manual but nothing was in it about custom tunes. If I reset the unit back to factory I will definitely lose what's programmed in there. Then the other question I can't find an answer to is once back to factory settings is there any thing for a deleted egr and exhaust?
I am not familiar with SCT but it sounds like you need to find the parameter that would let the ecm ignore the dpf pressure sensor and stop the regens. FWIW, the 5R110 transmission in your truck isn't friendly to tuners. I would leave the stock transmission parameters alone.
Did you ever get this issue resolved ? Or get any more information? I'm having this same problem in our 08 ford f250 super duty. It won't drive forward after adjusting the tune.
