Dual stack kit

I currently have single exit 4" turbo back exhaust on my truck. I want to switch to double 5" stacks out, i was looking for opinions on a good fitting kit.

That must have been due to the cost of the tubing alone as there is no real downside to having dual exhaust. In addition, I don't think there are many kits out there that offer true dual exhaust. They are simply split under the body to allow for dual exit exhaust.

Someone with firsthand experience of this is @FordTruckNoob if I am not mistaken.

This is correct. My MBRP dual was a single pipe until the split just in front of the rear axle.

Maybe that's why i was told not to , not like your pulling exhaust from each head, just from your down pipe

As I see it, it yields no return on investment, whatsoever.

Only reason I want dual is because I like the look of the symmetry. Only reason switching to stacks is I'm trying to put all exhaust fumes up, stinks badly

Have you checked your crankcase vent system. That is where you could be getting fumes and smell. I don't see the advantages of dual vertical stacke to eliminate fumes from cab area when you could run an exhaust all the way back past the rear axle. In a CCLB configuration, you're pretty far from the cab area anyway.

I'll second what @bsiliani said. Can't speak for fumes coming from the CCV, but I'd be looking for leaks up front. I don't like stacks to begin with, but I only see them making things worse. Assuming no leaks the normal exhaust is going to dump fumes behind the rear axle. Stacks are going to put them out right behind the cab. It's above the cab, but still a lot closer than a rear or rear exit or rear side exit.

If you are getting exhaust fumes in the cab, maybe check to see if you've got turbo up-pipe leaks. Maybe the clamp for the exhaust down pipe is loose. Rusted out pipes under the cab.

Not really having an issue smelling it in the cab, more of a problem outside the truck when it's running, made me think of the exhaust goes straight up it would help. I have a CCV what needs to be checked

The exhaust stinks on all of them, that's why Kalifornia has it in for them. I wouldn't want to have to be behind mine in a line of traffic.

No leaks up pipes are new and bellowed, exhaust is good too. It's just stinks more than it did before I did the bigger injectors

Ask tuner to bump up the idle ICP.

More rattling idle but cleaner burn.

I have to agree with getting the exhaust above inhalation level. Being that mine is a plow truck and spends a lot of time going back and forth short distances, I also used to smell it a lot when I had underbody exhaust. I don't have any experience with dual stacks, however. My only bit of advice is don't try straight piping it. Doesn't even sound close to good.
