Hi, I need some help. I change rear cylinders and shoes. Front calipers and pads, also power brake booster. I bleed every point of bleeding have a solid pedal no sinking but once rv is turn on it goes a bit more than half way down I have brake but don’t seem to be right, so I don’t know if I have to adjust the shoes adjusters or if still air on lines. Thanks for any suggestions.
Did you bleed or prime the master cylinder? That can be a tricky job on a compound master cylinder that has a spring between the front and back pistons. Tipping the front end of the master cylinder downward while bleeding might help. Check YouTube for ideas. Pressure bleeding is the way to go if you have a setup for it.
Bleed the master cylinder first then ABS if that can be bled then wheels starting with the furthest/longest line from the master cylinder.
You’re moving air from the highest point to the bleed valves. If there’s still air upstream, you have to start as far upstream as the air and keep pushing it to the bleed valves.
